🚨 If you have outstanding warrants in Conroe, now is the time to act. The Conroe Municipal Court is running an amnesty program through March 28, giving people a chance to clear eligible cases without fear of arrest. The court is also offering extended hours on select days to make it easier to come in.

This program is designed to help residents resolve issues and move forward. If you think you may have a warrant, check online or call the court. Taking care of it now could bring real peace of mind.

🐱 Conroe is taking a new step to manage its growing feral cat population. The city has approved a Trap – Neuter - Release program, a humane approach that involves trapping cats, spaying or neutering them, vaccinating them, and returning them to where they were found.

Leaders say the program can reduce nuisance behavior, improve animal health, and lower euthanasia rates. Residents can also borrow traps from the city shelter to help. It is a practical way for the community to take part in solving a long-standing issue.

👗 The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is tightening its dress code. Officials say guests can now be removed if their clothing takes away from the family-friendly atmosphere. This includes outfits with inappropriate language, too much skin, or visible undergarments. The change comes after viral social media posts sparked debate.

Some visitors support the move, saying it helps keep the event respectful for kids. Others feel people should wear what they want. Either way, the message is clear. If you are heading to the rodeo, dress appropriately or risk being turned away.

⚽ Houston leaders are taking the city global ahead of the 2026 World Cup. A group led by the Greater Houston Partnership, including Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, is traveling to Germany, the Netherlands, and Portugal. They are meeting with business and government leaders to promote Houston and build new partnerships.

The goal is simple. Bring more investment and attention to Houston before the World Cup arrives. With seven matches set at NRG Stadium, leaders hope this trip helps put Houston on the map and attracts long-term growth.

🌳 A new Liberty Tree now stands in downtown Conroe, planted by the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce to honor the America 250 celebration. Community members gathered to take part in the ceremony, even helping place soil around the tree as it was planted in front of the Chamber building.

The Redbud tree, donated by Trees for Houston, is meant to grow alongside the community it represents. It is a simple but meaningful way to celebrate history and bring people together right here in Conroe.

🏈 The Texans kept working on their offensive line Tuesday by agreeing to a two-year deal with former Browns guard Wyatt Teller. The deal can be worth up to $23 million. Teller is a two-time All-Pro who started 13 games last season and is known for his toughness and strong run blocking.

Houston has made several line moves this offseason, and Teller is another big piece of that reset. With a rebuilt front and a focus on a stronger run game, the Texans are clearly trying to give the offense more power up front.

🎆 A Houston area woman is suing the Astros and a fireworks company after she says a firework hit her in the left eye during a postgame show at Daikin Park last July. The lawsuit says she suffered serious injuries, needed emergency laser eye surgery, and now deals with blurry vision, floaters, and partial vision loss.

She is seeking more than $1 million in damages. The Astros and the fireworks company have denied her claims, but the case puts new attention on fan safety during one of the ballpark’s longtime Friday night traditions.
